IF Double

The Greedy Dog
A fable told by Aesop (or Aethop) which is also familiar to children in Ethiopia where the storyteller could have originated. The dog's greed, on seeing its double - a reflection holding what appears to be a bigger piece of meat - results in the dob losing its own meat into the water as it opens its mouth to grab the piece it sees.
